South Africa vs Australia live score 3rd Test Day 3 from Cape Town

18:52 IST:

Positive attitude puts Australia ahead – At 58/2, Australia were nervously peeking through their fingers and then Green and Renshaw came along and cleaned up the mess. Both were lucky early though, with Green’s edge dying just before second slip and Renshaw getting a reprieve from the umpire but neither squandered a second life. Boundaries came in droves and fifties followed, with the deficit eaten away by quick little bites. Both batsmen dealt with the short ball carefully and kept their hands out of harm’s way. Mulder and Harmer threw a couple of girls in tandem, with Harmer able to extract a bit of a turn, but neither could apply enough pressure to cause any real discomfort.
