Soulja Boy claps back at the internet over the performance of the crypto sphere
When soulja boy clips performing at the Crypto Ball in DC hit social media, the internet wasted no time calling it a sellout. But in a video shared by a user LiveBitezSoulja clapped her hands to understand why he came on stage.
Soulja, being Soulja, flexed his money on camera when he said that Vice President Kamala Harris and Barack Obama didn’t call him or offer to put money in his pockets, but Trump did. Rapper ‘Crank That’ also claimed the event wasn’t even for Trump and he didn’t show up.
“You all want me not to pick up the phone to the president, this is the president of the United States of America. Trump wasn’t even there. It was Crypto Ball for crypto n****,” Soulja said.
Additionally, Soulja let it be known that he wouldn’t care if people tried to cancel him for performing at the event. He even mentioned that he would do it again if he could. “I don’t want what nobody talks about. I’ll do whatever the hell I want. And I’ll go again.”
Soulja Boy keeps the bag real secure
In another clip from LiveBitez, Soulja said he felt like the crypto crew and Trump were trying to play him, but he kept it real and admitted he only half minded.
“But I don’t believe in 50/50.” I was half like Man damn Trump. I don’t talk to him and it was half like he was the president. But whatever, man, I’m not giving up.”
He kept it real and said he went on stage because he had bills to pay.
“Keep it gangster, it was 50/50. Half of me was like I don’t know, the other half was like I need this bag so it is what it is. If you’re crazy, I understand. But I needed money. I didn’t go to lie. I needed that bag,” Soulja said as she said goodbye.
