Son Nigam singer turned to the Karnataka High Court, who tried to cancel a criminal case registered against him for alleged offensive comments about Kannadigas during a recent Bengalur concert.
The petition was introduced in front of the recreational bench of the Justice Shivashankar Amarannavar, which postponed the matter for hearing later. The controversy stems from the incident that occurred on April 25 at a live concert held at the engineering university in Bengalur.
During the show, several members of the audience asked Nigam to sing in Cannada. The reports state that the singer refused the application and expressed my displeasure in the way he was made and accused some of the participants of being a bad.
