The son of the BJP official and his friend was arrested on Sunday by the police Brahmapuram near Katado for robbing a student of an engineering university of 25,000 GBP.
The police said the arrested persons were identified as K. Rohit, 20 years, ending school and his friend S. Vicky, 22 years, university student. Both belong to Katpadim. Rohit is the son of kg kutty, vice -chairman, state BJP Unit (minority wing).
The initial investigation revealed that after graduation, Rohit and his gang wandered in Katpada and the surrounding areas. On Friday evening, the police said that Rohit led the gang to the house S. Malesh, 21, a student at a private engineering university in Katpada. After searched his house, they took 25,000 GBP from the house.
Based on the complaint, the case was registered by the Brahmapuram police. Special teams were created to charge the suspects who were rounded out of their hiding places near Katado. Were arrested. The probe is running.
