Kangana Ranaut issues fresh criticism of Gen Z protesters The actress-politician had earlier condemned the “obscene” language used during the Jantar Mantar protests. Ranaut now says such behavior cannot be normalized in society. They argue that children should not witness inappropriate behavior on public streets.
Kangana Ranaut insists society must completely reject “vulgar” public expressions. According to her, obscene behavior risks premature and inappropriate sexualization of children. They argue that such behavior brings shame to the elders in the households. Ranaut vows to never accept the normalization of this behavior.
The Bollywood actress accused the media of unfairly targeting her comments. According to Kangana, outlets previously ignored her genuine praise for Indian startups. In the video, Ranaut emphasizes her support for initiatives like Skyroot. She reminds everyone how she personally congratulated the NEET students for their achievements.
Ranaut also criticizes feminist commentators who question her stance on discipline. She says some TV presenters say younger women shouldn’t have to carry the “burden of dignity”. She rejects this framing and questions whether they would teach their daughters anyway. Ranaut claims that decency is not optional in any functioning society.
According to actress Manikarnika, personal freedom must end where the rights of others begin. Profanity, he claims, belongs exclusively to private spaces. Coming out requires respecting the feelings and boundaries of others, she says. This is true regardless of personal feelings toward elders or leaders.
Public affection for PM Modi
In her Instagram video, Ranaut then talks about the public affection for Prime Minister Narendra Modi among the youth.
“Kids call Prime Minister Modi ‘exam buddy’. So many people relate to him. Some see him as a leader, some as a friend, some as family, some as a god. You can’t hurt anyone anyway. It’s not about being ‘cool’, it’s a basic civic sense. And if you don’t have it, you have to learn it,” says MP Mandi.
Ranaut warns against following what she calls “feminist” influences. He warns that unchecked profanity risks destroying people’s future completely. According to her, the workplace and relationships will not tolerate such inappropriate behavior. Finally, he warns that this path leads to isolation and hardship.
