The district police in Elur and India National Highways Authority in India (Nhai) installed seven sunlight, four warning plates and ten speed plates on the national highway on Saturday. At a joint meeting of the police superintendent K. Pratap Shiva Kishhore said there were accidents on the road due to poor visibility on Ashram Bridge and Vyas Colony Railway Bridge. He ordered the transport wing and Nhai officers to install solar street lighting and cautious plates to prevent traffic accidents on the national highway and intersection.
