
Forest department officials along with snake catchers from eight districts attended a workshop on ‘Mitigating Human-Snake Conflict’ and underwent training at the Andhra Pradesh State Forest Academy in Rajamahendravaram on Friday. The training was conducted by Eastern Ghats Wildlife Society founder KLS Murthy.
Rajamahendravaram Chief Conservator of Forest BNN Murthy appealed to the youth to pursue scientific training in snake rescue and trapping. He said, “The training will help protect the snakes and prevent any untoward incidents.”
