
The twelve -year -old boy was crushed to death and his uncle was injured after Sunday evening he ran him to the SJP Road at the limits of the SJP police station on the SJP road on the SJP road in Halasur.
The deceased was identified as Shabarish, 12.
The police said Shabarish went to Pillion with his uncle on a double -round when BMTC was hit by the City Hall from Market Road on SJP Road. Shabarish fell and the rear wheel of the bus crossed him and killed him on the spot while his uncle suffered minor injuries, the police said.
Jurisdiction Halasuru traffic police registered the case and confiscated the bus.
This is the fifth fatal accident that includes BMTC buses reported in the last week.
BMTC, who has realized a number of accidents, has intensified its initiatives on road safety, including compulsory training for its 9,000 drivers and from private electric buses carried out at BMTC Zonal Offices and Vaddarahalli’s Center.
The training focuses on the prevention of accidents, compliance with operating rules, stress management and uses DashCam shots to teach drivers to avoid dangerous situations. In addition, BMTC has revised bus plans to reduce the driver’s fatigue, suspend the driver involved in fatal accidents, and introduce stricter disciplinary measures to negligence.
Another incident
In a separate accident, a 22 -year -old Bihar guard was killed and a bike taxi rider was injured after a fast car hit the back of their two -round. The incident occurred on Sunday near the intersection of Krishhnanand Nagar at the Rajarajeshwari Nagar traffic station on Sunday.
The police said Sanjiv Kumar, Peenya resident, completed his work and booked a bike taxi to return home. Around 2 in the morning, near Krishhnananda Nagar Junction, a fast car hit the scooter. Kumar lost control fell on the road and was ran through the truck. The rider on his bike suffered a foot injury.
Rajarajeshwari Nagar has registered the case and analyzes the CCTV shots to trace the accused.
