The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a red warning for Sikkim, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya and Arunacal Pradesh 3. Meanwhile, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Kerala and Tamil Nadu are today.
In its latest weather, the meteorological department pointed out “extremely heavy rainfall” in isolated places above Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim 3.
“Extremely strong precipitation very likely in isolated places above the Keral and Ghat area in Tamil Nadu 5. August,” IMD said in the middle of a fisherman warning for the coastal areas adjacent to the Arab Sea and the Gulf of Bengal until August 7.
For the following regions there is an insulated heavy rainfall on site:
- In Tamil Nadu, Kerala until August 8
- Across the coastal and northern interior of Karnataka between 5 and 8 August.
- Across the Andhra Pradesh coast over the next 2 days and in Rayalaseem to 6 August
- In Jamm and Kashmir and Panjab over the next 3 days
- In Himachal Pradesh, Haryan and West Uttar Pradesh until 6 August.
- In Uttarakhand until August 8
- Through the eastern Uttar Pradesh and the northeastern Rajasthan until August 5.
- The weather agency states: “Isolated heavy rainfall probably above Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim” to August 8; “Gangetic West Bengal on 07; Jharkhand on 3 and in Bihar until August 4, 7 and 8.
- “Madhya Pradesh on 3 and 04. August with isolated very strong precipitation over sub-himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim on 04.; Bihar 3.”
For 4th August, for Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Sikkim, West Bengal, Meghalay and Arunacal Pradesh introduced orange alerts of heavy rain.
DELHI-NCR rain
There is no warning of collisions for Delhi-NCR, although the national capital received intense showers on Sunday morning. According to the weather forecast of IMD of 2 August, it is expected that the sky over Delhi-NCR will remain “generally cloudy”. IMD predicted several spells of light to gentle rain and storm. The maximum and minimum temperatures in the Delhi are likely to settle around 31 to 33 degrees Celsius and 24 to 26 degrees Celsius.
