
Fifteen people were rushed to the hospital after the skydiving aircraft turned from the track and on Wednesday evening crashed into a nearby forest near New Jersey airport, according to the authorities.
The crash occurred at the Cross Keys airport, about 21 miles southeast of Philadelphia, and included the Cessna 208B aircraft carrying 15 people. The Federal Aviation spokesman made the aircraft currently being investigated.
Air shots of the crashed plane show it in the forest, with several pieces of remnants nearby. The scene was surrounded by fire and other emergency vehicles.
According to Wendy A. Marano spokesman, three individuals are evaluated at the Trauma Center of Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. Eight other with less serious injuries are at the emergency department of care, while four more patients with “minimal injuries” are waiting for further evaluation. However, it was not able to provide the exact nature of the injury.
Members of the EMS and Trauma Department were on the site of the accident, she said.
The person who responded to Cross Keys at Cross Keys Airport on Wednesday that she had no information and referred to the questions of Skydive Cross Keys, a commercial firm at the airport. Skydive Cross Keys did not respond immediately to the e -mail of the Associated Press requesting a comment.
Gloucester County Emergency Management warned the public on its Facebook page to avoid this area to allow emergency vehicles to access the web.
