
Center in Calicut in cooperation with College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram (CET) started a five -day skill program in “Digital Documents for Digital Twins”.
CET Principal Suresh K., who started the program, emphasized the importance of maintaining the pace with technological progress. He also emphasized the importance of digital documentation in today’s context and has recorded its key role in urban planning, where precise and accessible data are necessary for informed decision -making and sustainable development.
PP Anil Kumar, Professor, Thread Calicut and President, Coeupd; and Sarith G. Prakath, head of the department (responsible), the Ministry of Architecture and Planning, CET, were among those who spoke.
As part of the program is also organized a walk of heritage. It is assumed that sessions offer deep information on the basics of digital documentation and explores the integration of digital twins technology in architectural documentation through topics such as inheritance, photogrammetry and advanced data to capture data.
