Six workers were killed and so much injured when the structure in a private steel plant on the outskirts of Chhattisgarh on Friday (September 25, 2025) collapsed on Friday (September 25, 2025).
The leading police officer said the incident was reported at the Godavari ISPAT LTD plant in the industrial area of Siltara.
“According to preliminary information, all victims worked in a newly built structure when the roof collapsed. The police team was sent to the place and those trapped under the wreckage. Six of them were killed, while six more suffered injuries.
The workers’ injuries were hospitalized while the rescue operation is still ongoing.
