In the other main drug move, the habits confiscated six kilograms of suspicious hydroponic weeds, also known as Hybrid Ganja, from a fashion designer who landed at Kochi airport in Nedumbasse on Sunday (October 5, 2025).
The arrested person was identified as Abdul Jaleel Jasmal, 29, from Kodungalloor in Thrissur. Jasmal, who arrived from Bangkok, was captured by an air intelligence unit of customs on the early Sunday hours. A suspicious smuggler with a high value was hidden in six packages inside the handbag, the customs official said.
The latest seizures of the suspicious hybrid Ganja come only two weeks after the customs officers arrested a 23 -year -old man in Kochi with similar suspects of suspicious drugs.
