A six-day ‘Siddha Aradhana’ program will be held at ‘Sumeru Parvata’ of Navagraha Teertha Kshetra at Varur near Hubballi from October 31.
Addressing presspersons in Varur on Saturday, Jain monk Sri Gunadhar Nandi Maharaj said the special program was organized as part of Deepavali celebrations and would be held for six days.
The program was organized by praying for the welfare of all and various rituals and program will be held continuously for six days.
On the ongoing controversy surrounding seer Kanheri Mutt, who has been banned from Vijayapura district for two months, the Jain monk said the Lingayat community has given a lot to the society and someone should step in to end the ongoing conflict within the community.
