Up to six bridge-cum colors in the Belagavi district got under the water to increase the release of water from the Maharashtra tanks to the Krishna River course.
The villages of Bridge-Cum in Malikwad, Barwad, Bhoj, Karadaga, Kunnur and Manjari, which connect 12 villages, are under water. Commanders use alternative routes. The police have closed access routes to these bridges.
