
On Friday, the government appointed Sivasubramanian Ramann for the new chairman of the Regulatory and Development Office of the Pension Fund (PFRDA).
He was appointed announcement on April 8 for five years with effect from the date of the assumption of the accusation of the post or until the age of 65 or to other commands, depending on what is at the earliest.
Ramann has been an officer of the Indian audit and account (IA & AS) since the 1991 dose. Before joining PFRDA, he worked as a representative of the controller and the General Auditor and the Chief Technology Director of the Indian Auditor and General Auditor.

Previously, he held several leadership positions, including the chairman and CEO of the Indian Bank for the development of small industries (SIDBI), CEO and CEO of the National E-Governance Services Ltd. (Carried) and the main accountant General Jharkhand.
From 2006 to 2013 he also served as the CEO (CGM) and then as Executive Director of the Indian Council for Securities and Exchange (Sebi).

Ramann has a bachelor’s degree in economics and MBA from the University of Delhi. It also has several professional and academic qualifications, including M.Sc. In financial regulation from London School of Economics, LLB, Certification of the Chief Digital Director at the Indian School of Business, Certified Authorization of the Internal Auditor from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Florides and Postgraduate Diploma in the Securities Act.
With its huge experience in public financing, technology and financial regulation, Ramann PFRDA will lead to the Indian pension system in its goal and support retirement security for all citizens, the statement of the Ministry of Finance said.
