General Minister of Education, V. Sivankutty, ran to Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Alelekar for his perceived approval “Pada Puja” (leg worship), which was recently performed in some schools. “The inclination of the governor to worship the legs is now obvious. If such acts are carried out under the sponsorship of RSS, schools cannot work legally,” he said on Tuesday in Kanna. Mr. Sivanku asked how the governor could “support” to wash the children with their feet and in the educational environment they call it “unacceptable and inappropriate”.
