It seemed that a special investigation team with the High Court (SIT) examined the “abuse” of golden copper coverage surrounding stone carving and statues in the temple of Sabarimala AyyAppa quickly expanded to other states on Sunday.
Officials said that the SIT SIT Playcless group is in Chennai to talk about the factory administration that Unnikrishnan Potti, the main accused, concluded a contract to restore ten -year -old temple panels to their original gloss. They said SIT could be probed by Mr. Potti’s predecessors in Bengalur and Hyderabad.
In particular, Mr. Potti became the aim of the investigation after revealing in September that two covers of the golden hills that “donated” the temple in 2019, “missing”.
Mr. Potti worked in the temple as an assistant to the Council of Travancore Devaswom (TDB) at the beginning of 2010 and later gained employment in the Ayyapp temple in Jalahali, Bengalur.
Surprising “publication” came into preparation for the global Ayyapp Sangamam Sponsored TDB, which missed the government of the Democratic Front (LDF) and provided opposition parties and provided ammunition against scandalization of organizers.
The controversy, however, turned sharply as the vigilance gained panels from the house of the sister of Mr. Potti in Thiruvananthapurama a few days later, and then laid the soil for the ongoing probe monitored.
The motifs asked
In a recent report to the Supreme Court, TDB’s internal vigilance has increased the red flag of Mr. Potti’s motives to accept the TDB renewal contract and his “dubious dedicated role in the temple affairs”.
The unit argued that Mr. Potti gradually gained credibility in the temple Orthodoxy by directing essential contributions from the rich devoted to Ayyapp to make considerable offers in the temple, including subscription of expensive pudges and extensive feasts and “facilitating” VIP Darshany.
SIT is reportedly prepared to ask for one Kalpesh, who received gold overlaps from the temple at the command of Mr. Potti for recovery.
Under the cloisters of the probe
The ‘discrepancy’ in the weight of the panels returned to the Temple After Restoration, the Possibility of Duplication of the Artifacts while in Mr. Potti’s ‘Protracted’ Custody, The TDB’s ‘Misleading’ Grading of the Gilded Coverings as Made of Pure Copper and the Worship of the Temple Artifacts of the Homes of Wealthy Devotees in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai
SIT brought at least nine TDB officials, including two former presidents and Devaswom Commissioners who are the political denominators of the left democratic front (LDF), under its rapidly developing probe, which, according to the High Court, remains strictly under the wrap. Sit accused suspects of cheating, trust, fraud, plot and theft.
