SIR in West Bengal– Online forms for Special Intensive Review (SIR) are likely to be made available from Thursday 6 November after a brief delay earlier in the week due to technical glitches as reported by several reports.
Online SIR forms: How to access them?
Voters can fill the enumeration forms online through the official portal of Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) West Bengal – https://ceowestbengal.wb.gov.in
A QR code has also been provided, after scanning which the voters are redirected to the SIR 2026 for West Bengal and also to the 2002 list.
The forms can also be accessed through the ECINET mobile application, election officials said earlier.
How to fill out the online form?
- Voters will need their EPIC number to access the forms. For online forms, the first part of the form will already contain some pre-printed information.
- Voters are advised to verify the details against their current voter ID after downloading the form.
- After verification, you are required to fill the remaining parts of the form and put an electronic signature on it before submitting it online, according to reports.
What are the preprinted details on the online SIR form?
According to reports, the pre-printed details on the SIR online form consist of the following details:
- Information about BLO: The name and telephone number of the Booth Level Officer (BLO) responsible for distribution of the form will be printed in English at the top. Voters can contact the BLO directly for any queries or assistance.
- Voter Details: This section will contain your name (in Bengali), EPIC number, address, serial number, part number, assembly part and state name – all pre-printed for verification. It will also include a QR code and your existing voter ID photo.

According to an India Today report, the online forms for SIR were launched on Thursday morning.
How to book a BLO call?
You can also book a call with the Booth Level Officer (BLO) by clicking on the tab on the ECI portal.
For the same you will need to enter your EPIC number and captcha code.
What happened to the November 4 launch?
The online facility was supposed to be available from Tuesday, November 4. However, when the special intensive revision (SIR) of the electoral roll began and the booth level officers (BLOs) started door-to-door distribution of the forms, the voters noticed that the online option was still unavailable. The Electoral Commission later confirmed that the delay was due to technical glitches, which have since been resolved.
