SIR in Bengal: All voters who are outside West Bengal can now fill enumeration forms online. Online forms for Special Intensive Review (SIR) have been launched after a brief delay earlier in the week due to technical glitches, as per several reports.
Online SIR forms: How to access them?
To access the online census forms, you will need to visit the voter portal on the Election Commission of India website. Click here for a direct link.
The forms can also be accessed through the ECINET mobile application, election officials said earlier.
- Make sure your name on the Aadhaar card matches your name exactly.
- Fill in all remaining details and submit.
What if the details don’t match?
The name and telephone number of the relevant staff at the booth level will also be listed in the pre-filled information section when filling out the form.
In case the pre-filled information like your name does not match with the details mentioned in your Aadhaar card, you can directly contact the BLO for any queries or assistance.
Can’t access SIR online forms? Here’s what to do
If you do not have access to your enumeration form online, you can wait for the BLO to come and complete the form offline. You can also contact your BLO whose information is available on the ECI website. The website also has the ability to book an appointment with your BLO.
How to book a call with BLO?
You can book a call with the Booth Level Officer (BLO) by clicking on the tab on the ECI portal. For the same you will need to enter your EPIC number and captcha code.
