Single window system launched for Ganesh pandal organizers in Nellore
The ‘Vikrama Simhapuri Ganesh Utsava Samiti’ was formed to unite all those organizing Ganesh festivities in Nellore under a single platform during a meeting of Ganesh pandal organizers convened here on Wednesday. The committee will open its office at TVS Kalyana Sadan at Shivaji Center on Trunk road in the city on Saturday (September 5, 2026).
“The Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations, which were earlier held without basic infrastructure for immersion, are now being held with extensive arrangements, including comprehensive infrastructure at Penna Ghat (on the banks of Penna river) and Ganesh Ghat at Nellore Tank in the city,” committee president Kondapalli Srikanth said.
He asked organizers of temporary installations of Ganesh idols to visit Vikrama Simhapuri Ganesh Utsava Samithi office to register and apply for permission through single window system. He announced that the celebrations will be grand for five days starting Monday (September 14) at various intersections across the city.
Further, an idol immersion ceremony at designated ghats is scheduled for Friday (September 18), preceded by a procession along various routes through the city, organized with the support and cooperation of the government. Pitti Honorary President Satya Nageswara Rao and State Vice President Bhayya Vasu were also present on the occasion.
