Singareni Collieries Company LTD (SCCL) is preparing to ensure at least 2.2 lakh tons of coal every day (about 6.6 million tonnes per month) and sending at least 2.4 Lakh tons per day (about 7.2 million tonnes per month) – from June to October.
At a virtual meeting held from Kothagud with all general managers in the Singareni on Saturday, Chairman and CEO of N. Balaram asked them to take all possible measures to ensure targeted production and send coal every day during the rainy season.
He stated that the problem of rainwater accumulation in Opencast mines could poorly prevent coal production during the rainy season, and told general managers to maintain the required number of motor pump sets to avert the pit and pits so that the pumping water can be removed as and if necessary to keep the production prepared.
He wanted them to prepare mining action plans to ensure coal production without interruption during rainy. Directors of D. Satyanarayana Rao (E&M) and K. Venkateshwarl (projects and planning), Executive Director (Coal Movement) SD.M. Subhani and other executives took part in the meeting.
