Giving Credit to Operation Sindoor for Exposing China and Türkiye as A Threat to India’s Sovereignty and Trade, Swadeshi Jagran Manch, The Economic Wing of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS), on Thursday (June 12, 2025) Said That India Wake-up call to Totally shun foreign goods and become self-reliant.
When starting the Pan-India unit to create awareness of the production and use of “swadeshi” goods in Dilli on Thursday, June 12, SJM also said that it awakens people about the domination of electronic trading websites such as Amazon, Walmart (Flipkart) etc.
In an interview with Hindu, National co -founder SJM Ashwani Mahajan, he said that the pursuit of mass awareness of the avoidance of foreign goods and electronic trading platforms is called “Swadeshi Surraksha Evam Swavlamban Abhiyan”. The founding was attended by industrialists, traders, farmers and workers from all over the country.
“The leaders present at the meeting expressed their views that today it is best to start this campaign and call all citizens of India, boycott the use of foreign goods and services and accept Swadeshi. It is also called to deal with foreign goods,” Mr. Mahajan said.
He added that the participants applauded the great success of the Sindoor operation, in which Indian forces destroyed terrorist bases, air bases and depots in Pakistan with an indigenous developed and produced defensive equipment.
“It was also expressed that the defensive equipment was developed and produced, it was much better than the defensive products supplied by China and Turkey and used by Pakistan. The impact of the current trade war that changed the world order by destroying global supplier chains.”
He added that the Sindoor operations disrupted global supply chains and also revealed China and Türkiy as a threat to the country’s sovereignty and trade. Participants decided to boycott goods from both countries and also to create a national awareness that it urges people.
“Given the scenario created by President Donald Trump’s administration, it increases the increase in tariffs, the imposition of a tax on the remittance sent by people from origin outside the US, SJM also called people of this country to boycott companies such as Amazon, Flipkart-Walmart and many others with foreign funding,” Mahajan said.
He added that the organization would ask the Indian government to impose a high tax on the outflow of foreign exchange in the form of license fees, dividends, technical fee, outflow of foreign portfolio investors (FPI) based on the principle of reciprocity.
