Main Minister Andhra Pradesh N. Chandrababu Naida on Wednesday on Wednesday reviewed the readiness of civil defense after the Sindoor operation initiated by Indian armed forces against terrorist training camps in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK).
At a high -level meeting, Mr. Naida said, “Officials and institutions at all levels must be fully prepared.”
The Union’s government has issued several recommendations to the states that must be thoroughly carried out. During such times, all departments must work in close coordination, he said.
“It is essential to ensure that people do not panic. Campaigns should be organized to know about information about people. Any attempt to spread misinformation must be strictly solved. The coastal areas require increased vigilance.
He said that the state government would expand full cooperation to the central agencies and were welcome to reach out at any time.
The main secretary, DGP and higher officials from the tourism department, foundation, disaster management, health and roads and buildings participated. District collectors, superintendents of the police and railway representatives, Indian army, Indian Navy, Air Force and CISF joined an inspection meeting through a video link.
The meeting focused on national security measures and readiness. Discussions also covered simulated exercises, created public awareness of the current situation and proactive measures to deal with unforeseen incidents. Each department submitted its readiness plans during the meeting.
