India on Tuesday, June 24, 2025) evacuated more than 1,100 citizens from Iran and Israel in the middle of the ongoing tension between the two countries, while the number of evacuating workers under the Sindhu operation to 3,170.
It brought back 594 Indians from Israel and, using heavy Air Force C-17, leaving over 400 people after being moved from Israel to Jordan and Egypt ground transit points.
Also 161 Indians were brought back to the rented flight from Amman after moving to the Jordanian capital from Israel along the road.

According to the details shared by the Ministry of External Affairs (Mea), a total of 573 Indians were evacuated from Iran, three Sri Lanka and two Nepalese nationals.
With fresh batch evacuated from Iran India brought back 2,576 Indians from the Persian Persian Nation.
In total, India was evacuated by 3,170 Indians from Iran, and Israel after the Sindh surgery launched last week after the conflict between the two countries.

Two one hundred and ninety -two Indian nationals were evacuated from Iran on a special flight that arrived in Nový Delhi from Mashhad at 3:30 in the morning, said Randhir Jaiswal.
“Another dose of 281 Indians, three Sri Lanka and two Nepalese nationals were evacuated from Iran. They arrived in Nový Delhi for a special flight from Mashad at 3 pm,” he said.

“2576 Indian nationals have now been brought from Iran home as part of #operationsind,” Jaiswal added.
Of the Mashhad Iranian cities on a special flight (June 23, 2025), two hundred and nineties of the Indian nationals and one Sri Lankan were evacuated from the Iranian town of Mashhad.
Israel and Iran fired hundreds of missiles and drones in the cities of other and military and strategic facilities since the beginning of hostility a week back.
The tension (June 22, 2025) escalated significantly after the American bombing of the three main Iranian nuclear places.
