
Hundreds of Indian evacuated from Iran landed in Nový Delhi in two years after Tehran alleviated the airspace in the middle of the ongoing conflict with Israel. Tazkiya Fatima, Resident Noida, told the tense situation in Iran and appreciated the coordination between the Indian authorities.

Eliya Batoool, another evakoee, described the emotional relief since returning home. She said, “… I’m not able to express what I feel now. My family is very afraid. We were fine in Iran, we got a 5 -star hotel and security was given to us. But after we arrive here we feel fine. After Iran released airspace, a special flight bearing 290 Indians – mostly students – landed late Friday evening at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. The flight arrived at 23:30 ist and was admitted to the secretary (CPV & OIA) ARUN KUMAR CHATTERJEE.
Iran closed his airspace until the next announcement after Israel made air strikes on several targets across the country, including the capital, Tehran, 13 June.
