
On Friday, the British police issued a public appeal to information about the alleged rape of a British Sikh woman at the beginning of this week, and the authorities categorized the incident as a “racially aggravating attack”, PTI said.
The attack was reported on Tuesday morning when the woman at the age of 20 said she was sexually attacked on the Tame Road in Oldbury, located in the Sandwell area at West Midlands. According to the police, the two suspects of white men reportedly made a “racist remark” during the attack and targeted the victim for its ethnicity.

The Sikh (Great Britain) accused the perpetrators of racist notes during the attack, and one of the alleged attackers allegedly said the victims, “You are not in this country, to get off.”
The week announced that the leader of the Federation Sikh quoted that the attack occurred in daylight on a busy road.
“We are investigating after a woman reported to us that she was raped in Oldbury in what we consider to be a racially aggravating attack,” West Midlands said, as PTI states.
“The woman told us that a racist remark had been made during the attack. We currently consider it an isolated incident,” he added.
The police said they wanted to talk to anyone in an area that might have seen two suspects. One of them is said to have a shaved head, a heavy building, and it was reportedly wearing a dark colored sweatshirt and had gloves. The other man was reportedly wearing a gray top with a silver zipper.

“We are really hard to identify those responsible, with CCTV, forensic and other questions,” said the main superintendent Kim Mall from Sandwell Police.
“We fully understand the anger and concerns that caused it, and I am talking to people in the community today to assure them that we are doing everything we can to identify and arrest those responsible. The incidents are incredibly rare, but people can expect other patrols.”
The local deputy for Smethwick, Gurinder Singh Josan, said he had left the victim traumatized and referred to anyone with information to help the police in the investigation of “hate crime”.

“I am assured that the Sandwell police are doing everything in his power to find the perpetrator. The incident is considered a hate crime,” Josan said.
“The police are working very compassionate to the victim of her pace, which was traumatized by the attack,” he added.
Groups such as Sikh Youth UK said they supported the victim and her family after a “brutal attack”, and the local gurdware, Gurdwara Smethwick guru, organized a public meeting on Friday to discuss the alertness and security measures for community members.
