The investigation so far in the explosion in the Sigachi industry has revealed that significant outages have occurred in safety protocols, compliance and preparedness for emergency readiness.
This was stated in the anti -offit filed before the Theangana High Court, which heard a lawsuit about an explosion that resulted in death 46 people and the disappearance of another eight, and the chief secretary K. Ramakrishn Rao said that several shortcomings occurred in the fight against fire and during the rescue. There were no open spaces in the Pashamylaram industrial unit in the Sangareddy district.
Firefighting staff could not find details about the stairs in the factory, which turned out to be a disadvantage for access. CS noted that there was no adequate firefighting facility in the factory premises. CS said that the factory building collapsed as a result of the explosion and said the debris includes chemicals and medicines (such as micro crystalline cellulose) powder. While this prevented the search for bodies, the unavailability of water made it difficult, the honorary statement said. The general reaction to the disasters and fire departments of the director filed a complaint against the management of the company at the relevant court.
CS said that the Ministry of Industry “does not have the power to control violations or issue banned orders” and added that its role was “limited to the implementation” of state industrial policy. “The department is promotional and does not have a regulatory body,” he said. According to CS, forensic experts gathered under the supervision of police 73 samples of human remains for examination.
Blood samples 56 family members of unidentified victims were also collected and sent to a forensic scientific laboratory. 26 bodies were identified with the coincidence, while the relatives recognized on the site of another 12 bodies. Eight people were identified during treatment, but eventually succumbed to their wounds.
The preliminary investigation carried out by the Ministry of Factory 30. June indicated on the explosion day that the explosion was created in the production block. The combination of factors, including static electricity production, dust concentration and potential equipment, could cause explosion, the ministry believed.
While the provisional report of the expert committee was submitted to the government, the last one was expected, said the honorary statement.
