Signal Chat Leak: The United States National Security Advisor Michael has taken over the “full responsibility” for the recently leaked signal group chat with Trump officials, who discussed the plans of the upcoming strike on Houthis in Yemen.
“I take full responsibility. I built a group,” Waltz said on Tuesday (USA) Fox News about “The Ingraham Angle”. “It’s embarrassing. We’ll get to the bottom,” he said.
Waltz said he did not personally know Jeffrey Goldberg, a journalist who was added to the chat.

The leak launched a storm after Goldberg, the editor -in -chief of the Atlantic, wrote the first person’s account to get a connection from what seemed to be Waltz on March 11 on signal, popular encrypted service sending reports used by journalists and government officials in the United States
Goldberg said he had accepted the application and then added to the chat group called “Houthi PC Small Group”, where he continued a series of Trump officials to discuss what turned out to be the upcoming attack on Houthis.

Many have called this leak by massive national security violations, although US President Donald Trump denied the claim that classified information was shared in the signal group. In fact, President Trump stood at Waltz and said he didn’t have to apologize.
“He is a very good person and will continue to do a good job,” Trump said, in the middle of the call of Waltz.

A military veteran, placed in the Middle East
Waltz is, according to American intelligence media, a 27 -year -old veteran of the US Army and the National Guard. After graduating from the Military Institute in Virginia, he was commissioned to the army as a lieutenant, became a green beret, part of military special forces and was deployed several times in combat zones in the Middle East, Africa and Afghanistan. He got four bronze stars, two for Valor.
