On Monday, a pioneering ceremony of the ancient temple of Sri Siddhesware Swamy in the Talakona forest in the Tirupati district, which is set to facelift. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (Chairman of TTD Br Naida, Chandragiri Mla Pulivarthi Nani and Tirupati District Collector S. Venkateswar was attended by “bhumi Puja” for the first phase of renovation work.
Mr. Naida said that the state government led by the main minister N. Chandrababa Naidu took the massive initiative for the construction and reconstruction of ancient temples. “The first phase of the works will be covered by Sanctum Sanctorum, Ardha Mandapam, Sri Parvati Devi’s Sanctum Sanctorum and Maha Mandapam in the temple complex Sri Siddheswara Swamy,” he said.
TTD has already approved Crore 2 Crore for these works, as approved by the State Government, while further financial support would be provided a gradual way for civic equipment.
