In the middle of a call about a possible change of leadership, the main Minister Siddaramaiah and the Deputy Minister of DK Shivakumar in various contexts considered to the extent to which the support of the MLA and the blessing of high command in choosing a person for the highest post, participating in different opinions.
Not about numbers
In an interview with a private television channel, Mr. Shivakumar said, “There is no decision in Congress.”
He claimed that the party command would decide on this matter, regardless of the number of Mla supporting the main minister.
“I know Congress and always do not accept the decision on the basis of the number of party MLA,” he said.

Siddaramaiaha, who spoke in Rabkavi-Banahatti in the Bagalkot district, recorded a different opinion and claimed that both matters.
“High command is the final authority in the party. But the views of the MLA party are also important. On the basis of these two factors, the appointment of the main minister or other questions will be decided,” said Mr. Siddaramaiaha.
He also said, “For all important decisions, there should be a match for the MLA and the blessing of high command.”
Meanwhile, Mr. Shivakumar’s stand drew the reactions of ministers.
Interior Minister G. Parameshware and IT/BT Minister Priyank Kharge responded sharply to Mr. Shivumara’s comment and stated that the command of the party is taking decisions on the basis of legislators’ support.
The role of the observer
Dr. Parameshware said that the party’s leaders represented observers or Secretary -Generals at the meeting of the Congress Legislative Party (CLP) to recognize the Puls of the MLA and bring the opinions of legislators on the chief candidate of the Minister. Generally, the candidate who secured most of the support from the MLA became the main minister, he said.
Mr. Kharge approved the opinion of dr. Parameshware and said, “Sometimes there is more number, sometimes the number is little. Observers submit a report on the overall situation and environment of the CLP meeting and then the decision decides.”
Shivakumar seems to expand the support of Mr. Shivakumar, the Minister of Care for Children and Children Laxmi Hebalkar said: “The party command decides” to change leadership.
Mr. Shivakumar, who treated the ambition to become the main minister since the party secured most of the surveys for the assembly of 2023, said that the so -called “November Kranthi” was mere speculation and “Delhi leaders accept the management”.
