“Main Minister Siddaramaiah ordered a member of the Legislative Assembly of Basavaraj Rayaraddi to tell people that there was no money with the government of Congress in the state,” BJP Ramesh JigaiGagi said on Monday.
“There are media reports that Mr. Rayaraddi has told the crowd in a public program in the Koppal district that people can apply for guarantees or roads, not both, because the government has only sources for one. On the face may seem to have made a local Congress of the MLA (Rayaraddi),” he said.
“But then Mr. Rayaradi is not an ordinary MLA. He is an economic advisor to the main minister. When a person in such a responsible position makes such a statement, it means that he was ordered by the main minister to expand this report among the masses.
Funds delayed
Mr. Jigajinsgi also accused the development of rural areas and the Panchayat Raj department of a deliberate delay in funds for payment to contract workers, such as supervisors, paddlers and MGNGA.
“I have been told that these contractual workers no longer have salaries for six seven months. Therefore, in some villages they went to strike.
“The minister concerned also faces charges of providing human resources contracts to companies that have been on the black list. All of this should be investigated and corrected,” said Jigajinsagi.
Asked if the delay of payments was due to the delay of the release of funds from the center, the deputy stated that he would not accept this fees until he was submitted by the main minister with documentary evidence.
