According to the Hindus report, Baramani claimed that CM was angry with the protest of an event during which women waved black flags and increased slogans against congress leadership. Baramani, which was assigned to the security detail of CM, said he was unfairly accused of disruption and that Siddaramaiah had tried to slap in front of the crowd.
“The main minister got angry and tried to slap me. I instinctively resigned, but it was already caused. I did nothing wrong, but I was ashamed of the public assembly,” wrote ASP Narayan Venkappa Baramani in an open letter.
