Main Minister Siddaramaiah questioned the role of Sangha Parivar in the Indian Movement for freedom and said that Congress has nothing to learn about the patriotism and building a nation.
Siddaramaiaha, who dealt with the congress congress congress convention, said in the city that the victims of the congress and his struggle in the freedom movement were huge. He contrasted it with the role of Sangh Parivar and said he had never attended the struggle of freedom, but now he was talking about patriotism.
He emphasized the role of congress in the production of modern India and ensuring civil rights and social justice. “Congress was born to ensure civil rights and social justice in the country and laid the foundation for the implementation of the Constitution by Dr. Br Ambedkara,” the chief minister said. But the leaders of Sangh Parivar as Savarkar and Golwalkar were against the Dr. Ambedkara, he added.
Mr. Siddaramaiah said that congress staff must be aware of the history and how they differ from Sangh Parivar and his ideology.
He said that, like Mahatma Gandhi, he led the freedom movement, it was Jawaharlal Nezru, who laid a strong foundation for the Institute in India. “Nezru’s contribution to the unification and creation of pluralistic India and instilling a feeling of tolerance is huge,” said the main minister.
While Congress, through the constitutional values of Dr. Bed Ambedkara, unifying the country, Sangh Parivar was inspired by Manusmriti, who shattered Indian society along the caste lines, said.
Siddaramaiah described the youth congress as “the army of young people who were to protect the constitution and its values” and urged workers to develop an ideological belief in how they differ from Sangh Parivar, which, as he said, was against Indian pluralism and constitution.
The Congress of Youth Congress were asked to create a commitment to the cause of social justice, and stated that if their beliefs were strong, they would remain firm in their ideological beliefs.
Siddaramaiah quoted from recent history and said BJP opposed the Mandal Commission Commission report and paved the way to reserve more backward classes, while his leader Rama Jois turned to court against reservations.
He appreciated the workshop and called on the organization of similar camps in all districts throughout the state for members of the Youth Congress.
Minister of Major District HC Mahadevappa warned the members of the Youth Congress to be vigilant for any challenges that represent the constitution. He expressed concern that the constitution and democracy were currently in “danger” and therefore it was necessary to not reduce the guard.
The leaders and youth members from different parts of the state were present.
