
Shukri Conrad was taken over as the head coach of the South Africa men’s team, CSA announced on Friday 9 May. Replaced by Rob Walter, replaced Rob Walter, who resigned from his position After Proteas could not qualify for the Champions trophies trophies.
Conrad, who served as a red ball coach in the South African Red-Míček, will serve as a coach of the White Balls to the ODI World Cup in 2027.
Enoch NKWE, Director of CSA for National Teams and High performance, said: “Shukri’s record with the Red-Ball team speaks for himself.
“He laid a solid foundation and instilled a strong identity in the test environment. I am excited to see him bringing him a profile and structure into the white ball space.”

“Want to be the best in the world”
Recently under Conrad in South Africa Qualified for the finals of the World Championship in ICC Against Australia on the Lord’s cricket land. Conrad said Proteas is based on achieving big goals in the future.
“I am really honored to be responsible for leading the national team in all three formats. I am really enthusiastic about the prospect that lies in front of us. The South African cricket has an incredible talent for a white ball.
“We want to be the best in the world in all three forms of the game, and that’s no doubt my number one goal and a goal for Proteas,” Conrad added.
In addition to the ODI World Championship in 2027, Conrad will also be in charge of introducing the World Cup T20 T20 next year.
