
Indian test captain Shaubman Gill is ready to miss the Duleep Trophy 2025, which is due to start on Thursday 28th August at the BCCI Center of Excellence Ground in Bengalur, because it is still recovering from illness in its house in Chandigarh.
According to a report in Cricbuzz, Gill, which was named the captain on the side of the northern zoneHe has recently undergone a medical evaluation of the team’s physiotherapists, with the Health Report submitted to the Criket Council in India (BCCI).
Given that Gill is not available, the Vice -Chairman of Ankit Kumar is expected to take over the head of the duty, while Shaubham Rohilla was developed to the team as his replacement.
Meanwhile, the Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana, which are part of the Indian team Asia Cup 2025, will only appear in the opening match against East Zone before leaving for the national commitments in the UAE. Gurnoor Brar and Anu Thakral were built as their replacements.

SHUBMAN GILL set up on the Asia Cup path
Gill was recently appointed vice -president of the Indian T20 for the Asia Cup, which will be held in SAE from 9 to 28 September, with India’s campaign against SAE on Wednesday 10 September.
