Shubman Gill is a very competitive captain: Sai Sudharsan praises GT Skipper

Opener Gujarat Titans B. Sai Sudhasan has accumulated praise for Captain SHUBMAN GILL and called him a “very competitive captain” and someone who brings the best in his players. Sudharsan attributed Gill for his growth and emphasized the strong bond that he shared as introductory partners in IPL 2025.

“I’ve always looked up at SHUBMAN for three years. If I have problems in networks or trouble with someone, I will conversate with him about what I feel better. I have grown a lot because of him and watched him play. Mentally it is a very competitive captain,” Sai Sudhasan remembered Jiohotstar’s Gene Bold.

This season, Sudharsan was a revelation for GT and an average of 50.40 and a strike rate of 154.12 scored 504 runs on average 50.40, including five half -life. His introductory partnership with Gill has so far one of the key reasons for Gujarat’s strong campaign.

“And I feel that he understands what the player needs. He’s someone who gives players who face difficulty, a comfort zone where they can return stronger. We also shared a lot of memories on the pitch. Hopefully we also create beautiful memories this season,” Sudarshan added.

Gill himself had a solid season and scored 465 runs. Together with Jos Buttler (470), Trio Sudharsana, Gill and Buttler dominated the attacks of the opposition bowling. It is remarkable that at least one of them scored half a century in each of the 10 matches, two players hit the fifties in five of these games. This consistency allowed the titans to maintain an impressive highest order that has not changed during the season.
