Former English captain of White-Mi-Miin Miin Morgan expressed his support for the appointment of SHUBMAN GILL as a new Indian captain of the test and described the young dough as a natural leader. After sharing the dressing room with Gill during their together at Kalkata Knight Riders in IPL, Morgan remembered how the young man was constantly taking responsibility and brought a sophisticated presence to a team environment.
Morgan, when he spoke to Sky Sports after the announcement of the India team, remembered his experience with Captain Gill in the IPL and described the dough as someone who is in responsibility and is not afraid to question methods for more good the team. He added that Gill’s instincts excelled even then, so he was convinced that the young Indian would grow into a role despite the high expectations coming with him.
