SHUBMAN GILL, one of the strongest candidates who will become another Indian test captain, will play in the team matches before the test series 5 matches against England. The Indian cricket council (BCCI) confirmed the reports on Friday, May 16, while announced an 18-member team for two tours and a match inside Squad.
Gill joins the Indian team for the second tour of the series, along with his partner for Gujarat Titans Sai Sudharsan, who was in fantastic form in cricket and white ball in India.
Squad will be the captain of the Bengal bodies of Abhimanyu Easwaren, a known name in the domestic cricket, which was part of the Indian group in Border-Gavascar Trophy 2024–25. Easwarean will be represented by Dhruv Jurel, who is one of the two Wicketkeepers in the group.
