Gaganyaan Astronaut Shaubhanshu Shukl summed up his “mix of emotions” in his favorite song: “Yun Hi Chala Rahi – Jeevan Gaadi Hai Samay Pahiya summed up his” mix of emotions “.”
When he started his flight to his India, Shhukla shared a picture of himself with a wide smile on his face. Posted in X: “When I sit on the plane to return to India, I have a mix of emotions that pass my heart.”
“I feel sad when I leave a fantastic group of people who were my friends and family during this mission last year. I am also enthusiastic about meeting all friends, family and everyone in the country for the first time after the mission,” Shukla said.
“I think that’s what life is – everything suddenly. When I got incredible love and support from everyone during and after a mission, I can’t wait to return to India to share my experience with all of you,” Indian astronaut said.
“Goodbye is hard, but we have to move in our lives,” Shuka wrote, remembering the mantra of Axiom-4 colleagues: “The only constant in the space flight is to change”.
Shukla ended his post saying, “I think at the end of the day -” Yun Hi Chala Rahi – Jeevan Gaadi Hai Samay Pahiya. “
Shubhanshu Shukla, a 39-year-old fighter pilot, and the second Indian who ever traveled to space on Rchessh Sharma, also chose “Yun Hi Chala” from the 2004-Zahají mission Axiom-4.
Shukla’s Choice then hit an emotional chord with many.
The Axiom-4 crew started from Kennedy’s Space NASA SPACE 25th June and returned to Earth on July 15, which meant another landmark for the presence of India in space. Shukl returned to India early Sunday 17th August.
The mission pilot was Shukla, selected by the Indian organization Space Research Organization (ISRA). Mission, in cooperation with NASA and SpaceX, was focused on gaining practical experience for the Indian Gaganyaan Human Spaceflight program.
According to ISRO, Shukl conducted several experiments on board ISS and Space Shuttle, which significantly contributed to Indian research of space.
The knowledge from the Shukla mission directly supports the Indian Gaganyaan project, which will begin at the end of this year by an unmanned flight, followed by two other unmanned missions. Finally, the Indian astronaut will be sent to space for 2-7 days aboard the Gaganyaan spacecraft.
Axiom-4 missions also emphasized growing cooperation with India-USA space. During a visit to the Prime Minister Narendry Modi in the US, ISR and NASA signed an agreement that allowed the Indian astronaut to travel to ISS as part of an American mission.
