
The former Indian cricket Yograj Singh went to the captain of Pandjáb Kings (PBKS) Shreyas Iyer for his lazy shot in the final of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025) final against the Royal Challengers Begaluru (RCB). Iyer was released to 1 (2) in the collision of the peak, when he was surprised by Romario Shepherd for the goal of Jitesh Sharma.
Skipper PBKS lost the goal in the decisive phaseallowing RCB to return to the match that caused his team under pressure. Yograj Singh was particularly disappointed in Iyer when he called his shot for a crime and said that there should be no excuse in this respect.
“The shot that Shreyas Iyer played in the final was, in my opinion, a crime.
Iyer was fresh from shifts 87* (41) in qualifying 2 against the Indians Mumbai (Mi) in the same place. That is why his goal was extremely essential for Pandjab’s chances of winning the match. After his release, only Shashank Singh (61* of 30) showed some resistance and fought until the end for his team.
His heroic shifts, however, did not take over the RCB through the line when seven runs fell than their goal. Krunal Pandya (2/17) And Bhuvneshwar Kumar (2/38) was helpful in scripting RCB returning. Pandya was even convicted of a match player.
Previously, after first inserted into BAT, RCB published a good score of 190/9 in 20 exceeds with the best scoring Virat Kohli with 43 (35), while Jitesh Sharma played a quick portrait 24 (10). Arshdeep Singh (3/40) and Kyle Jamieson (3/48) picked up three goals for the pandjab.
