The State Committee of Kerala Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) unanimously elected MV Shreyams Kumar as his new state president. From the 140 -member strong state council, a 50 -member state committee and 20 representatives of the National Council were selected.
In his speech later Mr. Shreyams Kumar urged workers to follow democratic and socialist ideals and take over the problems facing farmers to strengthen the party in the state.
He also called on workers to follow the 50th anniversary on Wednesday.
