
The State Commission for Human Rights in Kerala (SHRC) registered the SUO MOTU case after passengers on Mangaluru-Thirvananthapuram vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20631) delivered expired non-alcoholic beverages on Thursday morning.
The Commission ordered the Railway Manager Palakkad Division to explore the matter and report within 15 days. The case will be reviewed for a session scheduled for June 26 in the government guesthouse in Kozhikode.
The complaint appeared on a non -alcoholic beverage produced by September 25, 2024 and expired on March 24, 2025, was reportedly delivered to the passengers. This problem arose after the media reports, and passengers claimed that the catering staff had rejected their fears.
On the basis of these reports, the Commission acted and safely increased passengers and negligence in monitoring food quality on premium train services.
