
The Human Rights Commission (SHRC) has ordered representatives of the collector (Endosulfan section) to explore and deal with an online application looking for the including the late mentally attacked girls and her parents on the Endosulf list.
The Commission issued an order after a session that was convened to hear the endosulf -related cases. The Directive concerns an application submitted by K. Indira of Kanathur in Muliyar.
The complaint said the girl who died of cancer was affected by the exposition of endosulfans and her parents also suffered from related diseases. She also stressed that she lacked the family below the poverty line despite their circumstances.
The collector’s representative stated that the names were not on the current list of recognized victims, but the complainants claimed to have submitted all the relevant documents online. The Commission ordered officials to verify the application and initiate the necessary steps.
