Shiv Sena (UBT) defended the emergency situation, called it constitutional, and acknowledged that the undivided boss of Shiv Sena, Bal Thackery, openly supported the emergency situation. Sanjay Member (UBT), Sanjay Raut on Wednesday (June 25, 2025), stated that, according to the Indian Constitution, if there is a threat of internal security, the Prime Minister may impose an emergency situation.
Mr. Rauta’s statement comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Emergency Samvidhan Hytya Diwas. In a ghost attack, Mr. Raut noted: “BJP can celebrate and politicize anything.”
“How can it be celebrated as Samvidhan Hytya Diwas when the Constitution allows the Prime Minister to impose an emergency with the President’s consent if the country is facing a threat?”
Mr. Raut called Mr. Modi’s administration “unannounced emergency situations” for 11 years, because during this time the police were found using bulldozers to demolish the homes of poor people on the basis of their religion and caste, almost every day.
Mr. Raut, who was considering similarities, said, “Indurates called the leader BJP Atalji and Adranji in prison regularly when they were detained while BJP received a seated main minister.
Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi imposed an emergency situation in India 25 June 1975, which was 50 years old.
Constitutional sanctions
Mr. Raut was defended by Mrs. Gandhi and said she had ordered the emergency situation and remained within the constitution. “She confronted people and quoted the reasons for storing an emergency. After 22 months she also fought in the elections. The emergency emergency has constitutional recognition. It could win the elections by an incorrect means, but accepted its defeat, which is its Chowkidar (protector) of democracy,” he adds.
Meanwhile, the head of Shiv Sena and Deputy Chief Minister Ekath Shinde (June 25, 2025) rejected Bal Thackey, who supported the emergency situation. Mr. Shinde called it “half -truth” and referred to Bal Thackey’s interview, where he said: “I condemn the decision on need to save the prime minister.” Mr. Shinde said, “Bal Thackey has never directly laid the emergency situation and said several times,” I am with an emergency situation, it was only accepted for the welfare of the country. Under the emergency name we do not accept dictatorship. “
Main Minister Devendra Fadnavis also wrote an article criticizing the emergency situation and remembered the bitter memories of the period. He condemned the negotiations of the Congress Party as the destruction of the Constitution, constitutional institutions and democracy. “It’s been 50 years since the congress party wrote this dark chapter in history,” he wrote.
