Deputy Commissioner of Police (Administration), NTR District, KGV Saritha on Thursday advised the youth to curb the use of mobile devices and encourage their creativity.
Speaking at the 58th National Libraries Week celebrations at PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science, where she launched the novel A Tale of Lies by young author Tanisha Kaja, Ms. Saritha emphasized that people should not become too dependent on technology and instead focus on developing their natural talents to gain recognition, reduce unhealthy competition and stress and protect their mental well-being.
Referring to the debut work, Ms. Kaja said that the novel takes place against the background of the girl’s kidnapping. Although the police department had fewer female officers, one of the central characters in the story was a female police officer. Mr. Sarita commended the young author for portraying the challenges and values espoused by officers in the service.
College principals Meka Ramesh and Ch. Venkateswarlu, Dean Rajesh C. Jampala, Educational Consultant Sunkara Nagabhushanam, Writer Papineni Sai and Librarian Vani also spoke at the event.
