A 35 -year -old mother named Saynab Abdullahi Dahir was arrested after the death of her three -year -old son Adnan. The child collapsed in park 4th June 2023 and died in the hospital after nine days.
Saynab now faces accusations, including the killing of the second degree. The incident occurred in Burnsville in Minnesota in the United States.
When the emergency services arrived, Adnan found heart pledge. According to KSTP, he had “clearly visible” ribs. He had swollen joints, poor limb growth and missing or broken teeth.
Saynab told the police that her son had been well for a week and refused solid food. She thought she was improving. But after giving him water, he collapsed again.
The witness called 911 when she called for help. Saynab also said she took him to the beach to help him “sweat” illness, added the publication.
The doctors found him seriously malnourished, dehydrated and underweight. Scanning showed poor brain growth. He had limited speech and several infections.
Saynab admitted he hadn’t eaten for two or three days. She said she was too busy to take him or his siblings (at the age of 5 to 9) for medical examinations.
During his stay in the hospital, her mother disrupted his medical treatment and had to be removed from the room. She even hurt him by forceing her jaw and pushing his chest.
Adnan died nine days later of brain injury after cardiac arrest. Other causes included infections and malnutrition. Then the police began to check her other children.
Their father, who was gone of a carers of a relative, said he barely recognized Adnan. Accused Saynab of neglecting medical needs of children.
Siblings reveal the dark truth about the mother
After Adnan’s death, the police and the father of children with their four siblings spoke. The children shared shocking claims about their mother, Saynab.
According to court documents, the mother gave her children only one tablespoon of food. She forced them to vomit if they gained weight. Some said he’s been doing it for years. They told the police that they would sit on them or push things into their throat to vomit them.
Two children also said she did it to Adnan after collapsed in the park. She called it “medicine” or “massage” and told them they wouldn’t need a doctor if they vomited.
Doctors kill people, she told children. If someone cried while another was forced to vomit, they were also forced to vomit. Everyone stopped complaining for fear.
All four children were underweight. When they took care of their father, they soon gained weight.
