On Monday, BJP MLA SHASHIKAL JOLLE visited Jain Mathematics in Nandani from Maharaštra to express support for devotees who demand that the order to transfer the mathematical elephant Madhuri to the wild animals of Vantar be canceled.
Mrs. Jolle, who represents Nippani in the Belagavi district, has met Sri Otheras Bhattarak Swami of Mathematics and discussed this matter in detail. She said she shared her feelings and believed that Madhuri was not only an animal in mathematics, but part of his rich cultural history.
The former Minister said that she would write to the Union and Maharashtra Government to ensure that the elephant that was transferred was returned to mathematics from Vantara.
A few days ago, Maharashtra officials transferred an elephant from Nidoni to Jamnagar according to the court order. Previously, the petitioner stated that the elephant was not properly treated by mathematical authorities.
Meanwhile, members of some of the Jain associations launched Padayatra from Ainapur in the Belagavi district on Saturday to the Padmavati Church in Shivamogg. One of their requirements was that the elephant returned to mathematics Nandani.
Members of some of the Jain associations also took a protest in Kolhapur against the transfer command on Sunday.
