On Thursday, Shashi Tharoor, a deputy, tried to deny speculation that he was contrary to the attitude of the congress to the circumstances that led to India-Pakistan’s ceasefire.

Mr. Tharoor said he sincerely talked about his opinions. He had no hidden agenda. “What you see is what you get,” he added. Mr. Tharoor also pointed out that AICC threw his weight behind the central government to bring the perpetrator of terrorism sponsored by the state to reserve.
