SHAROOR Congress (MP) member of the parliament (MP) admitted on Thursday that he had some differences in opinions with the party. But Tharoor said he would discuss these differences privately when someone was approaching him.
“I have been working in the congress for the last 16 years. I have some differences in opinions with the party and I will discuss them inside the party … I don’t want to talk today. I have to meet and talk, leave time, and I will discuss it,” Tharoor, a Congress of Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, told reporters.
Tharoor’s remarks come on the day Keral Nilambur’s seat voted in election election. Tharoor was noticeable during the campaign by his absence, while the leader of the Congress leader, including Gandhi’s Priyanka, drummed the candidate’s support for the party.
Tharoor’s Pro-Modi notes developed after the congress?
At the beginning of this month, Tharoor, who took the case in India, in foreign countries, while led by a delegation of all parties, with his notes seemingly upset his party for the support of Narendra Modi about recent military action across the border in Pakistan and Pakistan Kashmir).
Some congress leaders even accused Tharoor of being a “super spokesman” for the ruling side of Bharatiya Janata.
On June 10, Tharoor called his meeting with Prime Minister Modi “good, living and informal”. PM Modi met with members of the delegation of all sindoor parties in its residence 7 Loka Kalyan Marg in Nový Dilli.
“The discussion with PM was only in matters concerning delegation of deputies. When there is a problem for a nation, it is our responsibility to become a nation. When the nation needs my service, I am always ready,” Tharoor said on Thursday.
Tharoor said he didn’t want to talk about it now because the vote in the assembly is going on. “… There’s no time to talk about these questions (his disagreements with the leadership) because the survey is going on where I wish to see how my friend (Congress Aryadan Shoukath) wins. Some of my disagreements with the party leadership are reported in the media, so he can’t hide it,” he said.
I have some differences in opinions with the party and I will discuss them inside the party.
Bypoll was necessary after the seat was released because the double MLA PV Anvar, formerly supported by the left, switched the loyalty to the congress side. Anvar challenges the elections as independent.
Congress was nominated by Aryadan Shoukath, the son of the former Mla Aryadan Muhammed, while the ruling LDF supports M Swwaj.
“Our Congress staff worked hard and sincerely in Nilambur, we have an excellent candidate. I would like to see the result of their work,” he said.
